Brendan Stewart, of Waltham, won $1 million in a Powerball drawing on Wednesday, July 19, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

The first five numbers on Stewart's ticket, purchased at Global Montello/Gulf at 821 Main Street in Waltham, matched the digits chosen in the drawing. He plans to use his windfall to deck himself out in a new smartwatch.

The gas station where Steward bought the ticket will receive a $10,000 bonus for its part in the big win.

The jackpot for the upcoming Powerball drawing on Saturday, July 29 is an estimated $60 million.
